The de Havilland Educational Trust will be supporting Shuttleworth's Engineering Open Workshop February 2026. Among other attractions the trust will have the 'Cutaway Gipsy,' showing the internals and how the engine works. People will also have the ability to get their hands on and learn some skills wirelocking, an invaluable skill in aviation, how magnetos and sparkplugs work together and test them. Chipmunk G-BWUN will be in the workshop for her annual giving a great opportunity to see an airworthy aeroplane with panels off, being inspected and worked on ready for a return to flight in early spring.
